Founder and CEO of Vita Liberata, Alyson Hogg has had professional careers in numerous fields. From broadcast news to academia, to hospitality and politics. Her resume is very impressive!
Ask her what roles suit her best? Entrepreneur and mother. She founded Vita Liberata as an anti-ageing skin care line back in 2003, and began to explore the formulation of self tanners in 2007. After seeing that women were willing to accept poor quality, chemical-laden formulas to achieve a bronzed glow, Alyson was determined to remove all of the chemical barriers that were normally associated with self tanners. Her vision came to fruition, and Vita Liberata was declared the first completely non-toxic tanning brand in 2011. Alyson is a great example of how feminism is shown in theory and in practice. She creates opportunity, space, and resources to a team mostly comprised of young women who inspire her daily.
